Satan in society

The evil spirit world influenced in the background of Nazism and World War II. The same thing emerges in the background of today's societies

In modern times, many people laugh at the idea of Satan, angels and the spirit world. They consider only the natural world as real, which follows the laws of nature and operating principles confirmed by science. They do not believe that the evil spirit world can lead a person astray.

However, not all things that affect our lives are visible. Everyone knows the effect of the sun. It has a positive effect on our lives, not only because of visible light, but also because of invisible heat radiation. We can experience it even if the sky is cloudy. Without heat, life would not be possible on Earth.

What about the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? They are examples of how invisible causes damage. People got sick from radiation they didn't detect. The same thing happened in Chernobyl in the 1980s. Even then, invisible radiation caused diseases and the death of many people.

However, not everyone denies the existence of invisible forces and an invisible world. For example, in New Age circles, there is belief in invisible beings such as connection with the dead, spirit guides, humanoids and UFOs, angels, highly advanced spiritual masters, the white brotherhood, etc. These people do not deny the existence of supernatural beings, but they believe that they are also connected to them.

What about the forces and beings in the previous list that New Age people believe in? We can find basically three possibilities for what they are. These possibilities are:

1. True. The things mentioned above really exist and are what they are believed to be.

2. Non-existent. None of the creatures and things mentioned in the list exist.

3. A lie. These creatures and things really exist, but they are liars and other than what they are believed to be.

If we then consider the possibility (no. 3) that the things on the list are actually lies, not many people take this possibility into account. They do not believe that they can be betrayed by these forces.

However, the possibility of fraud should be taken into account, just as in modern times we talk about fake news and lies in the media. After all, the Bible speaks in many places about the ruler of the air power and the evil spirit world. The sole purpose of these powers is to mislead people and ultimately lead them to damnation. In addition, the New Testament mentions how evil spirits are real persons, not figments of the imagination. They can speak (Mark 5:9), believe (James 2:19), recognize Jesus as the Son of God (Mark 1:24), they have their own will (Luke 11:24) and they know their future destiny (Matthew 8:29) .

Therefore, the teaching of the Bible should be taken seriously. We are not wise if we pass these verses lightly and ignore them. These things were certainly known in the society at the time of Jesus, and that is why the Bible mentions the subject in many verses. They are for our benefit so that we don't get lost. We can be deceived already if we do not consider the possibility of a lie:

- (2 Cor 11:14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

- (2 Cor 4:3,4) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine to them.

- (Eph 2:2) Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:

- (John 12:31) Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

- (John 14:30) Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in me.

- (John 16:11) Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

- (Eph 6:12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

- (John 8:44) You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

- (1 Peter 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

The invisible world should therefore be taken into account and not rejecting the very idea of its existence. It is very possible that such a spirit world exists. New age people believe in its existence and the Bible also talks about the same topic.

So how does the influence of Satan and evil spirits manifest itself? The subject can be dealt with in different ways, but the purpose of this article is to deal with the effect of these forces on people's thinking. For when Satan is “the prince of this world” (John 12:31) and “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience” (Eph 2:1,2), his influence manifests itself especially as an attitude hostile to God in this world system. Before a person believes in Jesus Christ and turns to God, he is inevitably controlled by the way of thinking of this world. Satan is the originator of thoughts hostile to God and it affects people's thinking in philosophy, culture, politics, science and all areas of life. These thought structures from darkness may seem scientific or loving at first, but because Satan is "is a liar, and the father of it" (John 8:44), "a murderer" (John 8:44) and "is transformed into an angel of light. ”(2 Cor 11:14), the effect of these lies is destructive in the long run. They lead people away from God or are otherwise harmful.

The purpose of the following is to deal with these lies, thought structures and strongholds that are against knowing God. A good starting point are the following words of Paul on the subject. He sought to destroy the false conclusions and imaginations that would lead people away from God. That is the goal of this article as well:

- (2 Cor 10:3-5) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

THE ROOTS OF NAZISM. When starting to study the influence of Satan in society, one good starting point is Nazism and its roots. This movement was by no means born out of nowhere, but was preceded by decades of development. The most important factors in the birth of this ideology were a few well-known or unknown thinkers. They influenced people's thinking and the development of society with their teachings and books. However, it is evident that these individuals themselves were part of a greater plan - a plan devised by supernatural forces, namely Satan and the evil spirit world. That's why we take a closer look at the backgrounds and lives of these thinkers.

Houston Stewart Chamberlain. If one had to name the most important intellectual influencer on the ideology of the Third Reich, Houston Stewart Chamberlain (1855-1927) would be a good choice. He was English by birth, but fell in love with German culture at a young age, moved to Germany, got German citizenship and married the daughter of the famous German composer Richard Wagner. Towards the end of his life, he also became a member of the Nazi Party and wrote for Nazi publications. As proof of his importance, is e.g. the fact that Hitler was at his funeral in 1927. Even better his influence is evident from the following statement by William L. Shirer. Shirer wrote in his book Kolmannen valtakunnan nousu ja tuho (The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich), pp. 123,124, how many of Hitler's supporters considered Chamberlain to be the spiritual founder of the Third Reich:

It is hardly an exaggeration to say that I have heard more than one Hitler supporter say that Chamberlain was the spiritual founder of the Third Reich. This unique Englishman, who began to regard the Germans as a master race, a hope for the future, adored Richard Wagner and in time married one of his daughters, first admired Wilhelm II and finally Hitler and was a spiritual educator of both.  At the end of his imaginative life, he could greet that Austrian corporal - that is, long before Hitler came to power or when he had no hope of power - sent by God to steer the German people out of the desert. Naturally, Hitler considered Chamberlain a prophet, as he then turned out to be.

Why did Chamberlain play such an important role as the ideologist of the Third Reich? One reason is his work Die Grundlagen des 19. Jahrhunderts (Fundamentals of the Nineteenth Century), published in 1899, from which, according to Shirer, 24 editions had been taken by 1938. The National Socialist journal Völkischer Beobachter even referred to it as "the bible of the National Socialist movement" when it celebrated Chamberlain's 70th birthday in 1925.

So what did Chamberlain's work contain? Its main contribution was teaching about races. In this book, Chamberlain quoted Darwin’s ideological world from "On the Origin of Species" and applied Darwin’s theory to society, i.e. it was a question of social Darwinism. Thus, Chamberlain considered race to be the basis of history and all civilization and saw that history was a struggle between races. He made a distinction between Aryan and non-Aryan races. Chamberlain considered the Germans to be the best representatives of Aryanism, even though he himself was an Englishman by birth.

Chamberlain also took a stand on the Jewish question. One of the chapters in the book was devoted solely to them, and much of the 'philosophical' basis of the National Socialists' hatred of Jews is considered to have originated from this chapter. In the same chapter and book, Chamberlain also took a stand on the Christian faith. He made such an argument that Jesus was not a Jew but an Aryan. That's why Christianity would be a good fit for the religion of the Aryans. This teaching is in principle exactly the same as what German liberal theologians had already brought forward in the 18th and 19th centuries. They too had tried to deny the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. Chamberlain continued this tradition.

So where did Chamberlain get his ideas and teachings? It is quite obvious that he was dealing with demons, that is, he was under the influence of evil spirits. It is evident even from his own statements. According to them, he saw demons that drove him to explore ever new fields of knowledge and write strange things. His confession in his autobiography Lebenswege (Roads of Life) is very revealing. In it, he admitted that it was often difficult for him to recognize his books as his own. This resembles very much ordinary mediums  acting in spiritism. They too may wonder afterwards what they have said or written during their trance state.

William L. Shirer has written more on the subject in his book The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich:

Over sensitive, neurotic and inclined to having routine nervous breakdowns, Chamberlain saw demons, who according to his own description drove him mercilessly to study new sciences and to write bizarre things. A vision after another forced him to change biology to botany, to arts, to music, to philosophy, to biography or to history. Once in 1898, when he was coming back from Italy, the presence of a demon grew so strong that he got off the train in Gardon, closed himself in a hotel room for two days, left his unfinished music work and began writing a biological thesis, until he created a theme, which was the theme of his latter works: race and history.

As Chamberlain felt he was controlled by the demon, he wrote his book (about Wagner, Goethe, Kant, Christianity and race) whilst having high fever, some sort of trance, some sort of self-inflicted high. He confesses in his autobiography Lebenswege (Ways of Life) that he often struggled to recognize his books as his own texts.

But in the Third Reich, which was founded only six years after Chamberlain's death, but the birth of which the man knew in advance, the influence of this Englishman was felt most strongly. The Nazis, who declared Chamberlain one of their prophets, adopted his racial theory and predictions about the fate of the Germans and Germany. During Hitler's reign, the weights prosecuted books, pamphlets and articles praising the 'spiritual founder' of National Socialist Germany.

Friedrich Nietzsche. If you have to name another person besides Chamberlain who had an influence on the world view of the National Socialists, Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) is a good choice. The ideas of this German philosopher were very popular in the Third Reich. He was Hitler's favorite philosopher, and Hitler distributed Nietzsche's books to his elite troops. In addition, Hitler often visited the Nietzsche Museum in Weimar and allowed others to take a photo of him, when he was staring and admiring at the image of this philosopher.

William L. Shirer has written more about Nietzsche's great influence among National Socialists, stating as follows:

However, I do not think that anyone who lived in the Third Reich could have missed how much influence Nietzsche had in the kingdom. His books might have been full of what Santayna said to be ‘ingenious madness’ and ‘boyish blasphemy’. However, the scribes of the National Socialists never got tired of praising him. Hitler frequently visited the Nietzsche Museum in Weimar and publicly expressed his admiration for the thinker by allowing to photographe himself, when he was staring devotedly at the bust-picture of that great man. (1).

The following statement also gives a good picture of the significance of Nietzsche. It is from a book published in 1934; just five years before World War II. The author mentioned how Nietzsche's ideas were seen to greatly influence the outbreak of war:

But these men not only deny God theoretically, but they consider faith in God to be pernicious to human happiness, and they have set about thoroughly destroying the godly consciousness of the human soul. Nietzsche, a great German philosopher who, in the opinion of many, has done more than anyone else to ignite war, said: "Ideas such as mercy, pity, and mercy are pernicious, for they signify the transfer of power from strong to weak, whose proper mission is to serve the powerful. Remember that self-sacrifice, fraternity, and love are not chastity instincts in the first place, but merely caused conscientious problems designed to prevent you from being yourself. Remember that man is essentially selfish." (2)

So where did Nietzsche get his ideas and teachings? One of the reasons for the formation of his thinking was certainly Darwin's theory of evolution. For Nietzsche was a graduate student in theology, but when he read Darwin's book On the Origin of Species, he stopped his studies. Nietzsche became a fierce opponent of Christianity and he proclaimed the death of the theistic God. Furthermore, he declared that there is no right and wrong and that nothing has a purpose. He can be considered a pioneer in the philosophy of aimlessness, which is also becoming popular in Western countries today.

Although Nietzsche was influenced by e.g. From Darwin's teachings, however, it is evident that he too was dealing with demonic forces, like Chamberlain. What these thinkers had in common was that both of them were mentally ill. William L. Shirer wrote above how Chamberlain was hypersensitive, neurotic and prone to usual nervous breakdowns, so the same applies to the rest of Nietzsche's life: Nietzsche suffered from an incurable mental illness for the last ten years of his life, so that his relatives had to care for him. Although Nietzsche wrote about the superhuman, the rest of his life was the opposite. It is quite obvious that Satan,  who has come to "steal and kill and destroy," ruined his life, too. (John 10:10: The Thief comes not, but for Steal, and to kill, and to Destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.)

We will look at another quote related to Nietzsche. When Jesus said that the devil, or Satan, is the murderer (John 8:44: You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. They were a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.), its sound and effect is very clear in the following statements, which are from Nietzsche's writings. Based on such teachings, it is not surprising that Hitler and his followers committed wrongdoing:

Powerful men, masters, once again attain the pure conscience that predators have. As joy-filled monsters, they can return from a creepy series of murders, arson, rape, and torture with the same joy in their hearts, the same satisfaction in their souls as if they had participated in some student fuss ... When a man is able to command, when he is a ‘master’, when his actions and gestures are violent, what would he care about contracts? ... A prerequisite for a correct critique of morality is that it be replaced by two concepts taken from the animal world: the taming of the beast and the continuation of one's own family. (3)

Bruno Bauer. As stated, Nazism did not emerge out of nowhere, but was preceded by decades of development. The most important factors in the birth of this ideology were a few thinkers who influenced people's thinking and the development of society with their teachings and books. However, it is evident that these individuals themselves were part of a greater plan - a plan devised by supernatural forces, namely Satan and the evil spirit world.

Bruno Bauer (1809-1882) was also an important factor in German culture. He was one of the leading liberal theologians and perhaps the most influential liberal theologian in history, along with David Friedrich Strauss.

Why then is Bruno Bauer perhaps the liberal theologian who has had the greatest impact on history? The reason for this is obvious. For when it comes to the ideology of communism, which has led to the death of tens of millions of people, it was born under the influence of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, who wrote the Communist Manifesto. Both of them were believers in God and Christ, whose faith was specifically destroyed by Bauer and another liberal theologian, David Friedrich Strauss (Richard Wurmbrandt Kristus juutalaisella tiellä, p. 99, and Saatana ja Marx, p. 24). As evidence of Karl Marx's earlier faith is e.g. the fact that his first written work was an explanatory work on the Gospel of John called The Covenant of the Faithful with Christ. Friedrich Engels also wrote Christian poems before losing his faith because of the influence of these liberal theologians. Free-minded liberal theology can thus be considered partly responsible for the birth of communism ideology and millions of victims.

Bauer's influence in Germany is very clear from Georg Jung's letter. It also mentions the name of Karl Marx and Ludwig Feuerbach. All three persons opposed the Christian faith and God:

“If Marx, Bruno Bauer and Feuerbach started a religious-political criticism together, it is better for God to shield Himself with all of His angels and succumb to self-pity, because these three will probably drive Him away from heaven. (D. McLellan: Marx before Marxism, McMillan)

Bruno Bauer also had another damaging effect. He was anti-Jewish and was the first to use the term Judenfrage in his pamphlet of the same name in 1843. This contributed to the growth of anti-Semitic attitudes in Germany. Bauer saw all possible faults in the Jews but no virtues. Bruno Bauer and liberal theology can thus be considered complicit not only in the millions of victims of communism, but also in the Jewish victims. The following quotes tell more about the topic:

1840s was pivotal in the history of anti-Semitism: the German theologian and philosopher Bruno Bauer introduced the “Jewish question” in his political booklet Die Judenfrage (1843). His booklet gave rise to the need to resolve the Jewish question. New race theories fitting to nationalism strengthened anti-Semitism: with the help of this new race biology – or scientific racism – people started to endorse the idea that the negative traits of the Jews were characteristically inherited, stationary racial features. In 1870s anti-Semitism gained a lot of popularity as a political -and a social phenomenon in Germany as well as in other places, especially in East Europe. (4)

By the 1840s, the question of the status and freedoms of the Jews had crystallized so far that it received its own terminological definition; the concept of the Jewish question was born. The term Judenfrage was coined in Germany, but as translations it quickly spread wherever the problems related to the emancipation of the Jews spoke to the mainstream population. The theologian and historian Bruno Bauer (1809-82) gained fame as a user of the concept of pioneer. Bauer used quite strong language about the Jews. According to Bauer, the Jews had always behaved in a way that had given others a reason to attack. Christians had by no means attacked Jews, but Jews had attacked Christendom. The reason for everything was the desire of the Jews to rule the world. For Bauer, the Jews were a caste of strangers with all possible vices but no virtues at all...(5)

So what was the force behind Bruno Bauer's liberal theology and anti-Semitism, and which had an impact on the birth of both communism and Nazism? Where did he get his ideas and teachings?

Bauer has partially revealed it himself. He realized that his teachings came from an evil source. It appears from one of his letters to his friend Arnold Ruge on December 6, 1841. In it, he told how he was dealing with a demon who enslaved his life and from whom his teachings came. He admitted that he did not always feel that the ideas he brought up in his speech were his own. His admission is quite similar to that of Chamberlain, who also stated that he found it difficult to identify his books as his own. In addition, the action of both individuals, Chamberlain and Bauer, are very similar to ordinary speech or writing mediums. They too may wonder afterwards what they have said or written during their trance state.

"The lectures I give at the university are listened to by a large audience. I don't know myself when uttering my words mocking God from behind the pulpit. My words are so horrible that these children, who should not be offended by anyone, have their hair standing up. As I recite my mockery of God, I also remember how righteously I write my sermons on the scriptures and the book of Revelation. Be that as it may, the demon in whose possession I am so often as I rise to lecture is extremely evil, and I am so weak that I must surrender to it... My spirit of mocking God will be satisfied only when I am authorized to preach openly as a professor of the atheistic system.” (Marx-Engels, Historic – critic complete edition, Publishing House ME Archiv Verlagsgesellschaft, Frankfurt a. Main, 1927, vol. I, 1).

The roots of atheism and anti-Semitism

The previous quote referred to Bruno Bauer and how he was in the power of demons. He was a well-known liberal theologian who preached atheism. He spoke in the following words:" Be that as it may, in any case, the demon in whose power I am so often as I rise to lecture is extremely evil, and I am so weak that I must surrender to it.... My spirit of mocking God will be satisfied only when I am authorized to preach openly as a professor of the atheistic system.”

Thus, atheism has supernatural roots. It is not a question of someone ending up with this worldview on the basis of their own great wisdom, but on the basis of deception. Atheists often consider themselves wise (as I myself thought when I was an atheist), but they are victims of a lie, as was Bauer.

If you are an atheist and do not believe this explanation, you can test your atheism in practice. For when scientists generally admit that life has a beginning (Life depends on the sun, which cannot be eternal. Otherwise, its energy stores would have run out), all you have to do is explain how life was born of itself. Can you do this? Can you show that life was born of dead matter? If you’re honest, you have to admit you can’t do that. Dead matter, such as rock, can be transformed into solid, liquid, and gas by external temperature changes, but nothing else happens. This is true science and practical observation. So if you reject the existence of the Creator, you are actually believing a lie - that is, a lie of Satan.

If atheism has supernatural roots, what about anti-Semitism? It occurred in Nazi Germany, but it has occurred elsewhere as well. This ideology and attitude has been repeated from century to century in different corners of the world and often only natural reasons have been sought for it.

So what's the cause? Factors such as envy, the need to find a scapegoat, or the negative aspects of the Jewish personality have often been presented. There is definitely something wrong with them, just like there is with the current state of Israel and its leaders. They are certainly not perfect, but neither are other groups and people. Deficiencies can be found in numerous nations and leaders, if one goes looking for them. Things are rarely black and white (100% and 0%) so that some groups are completely evil and others are innocent. One should not be guilty of such a generalization.

However, it is fair to say that throughout history, anti-Semites have committed far worse acts than the Jews they have hated. This happened in Europe, e.g. in the last century.

So what causes anti-Semitism? Surely the best is the biblical explanation, according to which it has a supernatural background: Satan hates the Jews because they have been God's chosen people (even though they have largely abandoned God). Although other peoples and groups have experienced persecution and hatred, none have experienced it as permanently and powerfully as the Jews. The Holocaust and other forms of anti-Semitism can be explained in this way. The supernatural background also explains why Jews are hated the most by atheists and the followers of Islam in modern times - the two trends that are most opposed to the other teachings of the Bible. This connection cannot be considered a coincidence, because it is a question of a spiritual matter and background.

The following verses that Paul wrote indicate that God has not abandoned His people:

- (Rom 11:1,2) 1 I say then, Has God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2 God has not cast away his people which he foreknew. Know you not what the scripture said of Elias? how he makes intercession to God against Israel saying,

Demon spirits and wars. A few thinkers were mentioned above who influenced people's attitudes and perceptions and why an ideology like Nazism was born. Among them were Chamberlain, Nietzsche and Bauer, who were found to be under the influence of evil forces. They did not always recognize the teachings they brought forth as their own. These persons or the forces behind them led people into wrong thought patterns.

The development was also characterized by the fact that people renounced the Christian faith and left the churches. This trend away from the Christian faith was clearly noticeable in the 1920s and 1930s, as the following quote shows. The quote is from a book published in 1934, i.e. just five years before the outbreak of the Second World War:

From time to time, there have been mass movements of abandoning the church in several countries after the war. Thus, in Germany in 1920, 305,000 people left the evangelical churches. This escape from the church has continued. In 1930, in Berlin alone, 59,225 persons renounced the Lutheran Church, not to mention those Catholics and Jews who abandoned the faith of their fathers... We need not say much about the spread of blasphemous ideas in the 20th century. Suffice it to say that the number of those who publicly confess or tacitly accept the absolute non-existence of God has increased immeasurably. Some men who are considered scholars claim that modern science makes belief in God impossible. They either completely stop believing in God or present that "science requires a new understanding of God". This denial of God begins among children at school. In some cities, thousands of 6-14 year old children, starting from elementary school, have walked the streets carrying the following posters: "“God out of schools”, “Take down God-superstitions”, " Religion is an anesthetic” etc. (6)

Several leading Nazis were also strongly anti-Christian. Among them were Alfred Rosenberg, Martin Bormann, Reinhard Heydrich and Heinrich Himmler, who worked under Hitler. They were strongly opposed to the Christian faith and drew up programs to remove the Christian faith from society (Rosenberg presented, among other things, a plan that the publication and distribution of the Bible in Germany had to be stopped and that no other book than Hitler's Mein Kamph could be placed on the altars of the churches). However, Hitler restrained them, because he had more political intuition. Privately, not so much publicly, however, Hitler was strongly anti-Christian. He e.g. stated: “The German Church and German Christianity is a convulsion. - Either a person is a Christian or a German; he cannot be both.” (7). Likewise, Joseph Goebbels's diary entries for December 29, 1939 contain the following mention of Hitler's attitudes:

The Führer is deeply religious, but completely anti-Christian. He sees Christianity as a sympton of the decline. And so it is. It is a branch of the Jewish race. It can be detected of the similarities of rites. (8)

What, then, was the object of interest of the leading Nazis if they were not adherents of the Christian faith? One trend was occultism, among them astrology and neo-paganism. (There is a more extensive summary of the topic in Dusty Sklar's 1977 work The Nazis and the Occult.) The best-known example is Himmler, whose occult hobbies have been written about in several books - e.g. in Himmlerin salaseura written by Yrjö von Grönhagen. Grönhagen met Himmler personally on his way to Germany. Based on it, he wrote about Himmler's occult practices and preferences.

What about Hitler? What is known about his background is that he grew up in Branau, Austria, a village known for its psychics. There, it was possible for him to follow spiritualist sessions from an early age. In his youth, Hitler also joined the occult Thule society, which later had direct connections with the Nazi elite. Another indication of Hitler's interest in the occult is the books he read. Kubizek, Hitler's only childhood friend, testified that occult books were among Hitler's favorite books. This also became evident after the occupation of Berlin, when Hitler's library fell into the hands of the Allies. Numerous occult works were found in the library, with notes made by Hitler's own hand. Among them were e.g. by the founder of the Theosophical Society, H.P. Blavatsky's (we will get to know her later) book The Secret Doctrine, which Hitler often kept on his bedside table.

The next quotation gives a good picture of the development. Dave Hunt mentions how the occult conquered the industry in the 1920s and 1930s. This was a logical consequence of the Christian faith losing its relevance. For if faith in God loses its meaning, this void will be replaced by other outlooks on life and interests. In the light of the Bible, the question is about turning away from God to false spirits.

Dave Hunt: The last mass escape of this kind from reason to mysticism happened in the 1920s and 1930s. It is very likely that this revival of occultism in Western Europe and especially in Austria and Germany contributed to the acceptance of Nazism in Germany. In fact, some historians have referred to Hitler as an 'occult messiah.  (9)

So what forces were behind the Second World War? It is obvious that if the leading Nazis were practitioners of the occult and had been influenced by thinkers such as Chamberlain, Nietzsche, and Bauer, it was a question of demonic spirits, that is, deceptive spirits. They got hold of the leaders of Nazi Germany and influenced the whole of Europe to drift into war.

There is an interesting description of this topic. It applies to World War I, but can also be applied to World War II, which Hitler began. Well-known preacher Oswald J. Smith wrote an article in The Defender-magazine decades ago about the demonic forces behind World War I. The Tibetans foretold what their gods were going to do in Europe. This was indeed the case when World War I broke out in Europe and lasted for several years. At the same time, Tibet was calmer than usual because demon spirits wreaked havoc in Europe:

In 1911, in Cairo, an English Christian general encountered an Indian theosophist who predicted, "In the first week of August 1914, a terrible war will break out in Europe." In 1919, the men faced again. The Indian said, "Didn't I predict correctly? The outbreak of World War was known in Tibetan occult circles years ago."

Also another description of Smith relates to Tibet. An English missionary traveled to the Tibetan border before the war in 1914. He encountered Tibetan witch doctors who told him, "Our gods have all left to Europe ... soon the members of your people will kill each other ... a great war will break out." The situation was that in 1913 there were indefinite skirmishes, wars, clashes on the Tibetan borders. When World War I began, there was peace in Tibet. Demon spirits were in Europe giving birth to the scourge of the First World War.

Thus, demons may predict future crises when they talk about their own actions or plans. (10)

The Bible has a similar reference to the demonic spirits that lead to war. They work miracles and assemble the kings of the earth for war. The supernatural forces of evil affect through the kings so that they set out to fight. This description is of the last war before the coming of Jesus. The First and Second World Wars can be considered preludes to what is happening just before the coming of Jesus. This is very possible during the current generation of Harry Potter, when children learn the basics of occultism from an early age.

- (Rev 16:13-16) And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

H. B. Blavatsky. It was stated above how Hitler was familiar with the occult. Occult books were among his favorite books. One work among others was The Secret Doctrine by H.B Blavatsky. Hitler often kept this book on his bedside table.

So what kind of person was H.B. Blavatsky? Perhaps the best characterization is that she was a pioneer of the current new age movement. She worked as a medium and in 1875 was about to found a theosophical society. Although she later broke away from spiritualism, she still worked as a writing medium. Several works, which became significant for modern occultism, were created through automatic writing.

In fact, the teachings transmitted by Blavatsky were closely related to one of the world religions, Hinduism. Although Blavatsky also brought forth other doctrines, they have much in common with this Eastern religion. The current new age movement contains exactly the same doctrines. That's why we go through a few of them.

Reincarnation is one of the basic teachings of the New Age movement and it also appears in Blavatsky's books. This doctrine assumes that we are born again and again on earth and also die. The teaching of the New Testament that we live and die only once is not accepted (Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment).

So how can you conclude that this is a lie from the spirit world? The best answer is Blavatsky herself. She herself admitted that she did not remember anything from her previous lives. That is, if Blavatsky and we had lived and died many times, everyone should remember the events of previous lives. Why don't we remember them, even though we can remember thousands of events from this life as well? Our lack of memory suggests that there were never any previous lives.

Blavatsky: "Maybe we can say that in the life of a mortal person, there is no such suffering of the soul and body that would not be the fruit and consequence of some sin that has been committed in a previous form of existence. But on the other hand, his current life does not include even one memory of those." (11)

The deity of everything and man was one of the teachings Blavatsky brought out. The same idea has come to the current New Age movement, but it has been present in Hinduism for centuries. For in Hinduism it is believed in the doctrine of the deity of everything (pantheism) and that all things, plants, animals, nature and humanity, are partakers of one and the same divine essence. There are also millions of other gods in Hinduism. This religion does not respect the biblical teaching that one should not keep other Gods alongside the one true God or make idols (Ex 20: 3,4: You shall have no other Gods before me. You shall not make to you any Graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in Heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.)

What, then, have been the consequences of this belief that has been followed in India for centuries? This has been answered by K. P. Yohannan, himself an Indian. He talks about sacred cows and rats being protected. As a result, an estimated 20% of the grain harvest goes into the mouths of rats. This perpetuates the problem of hunger. Without a philosophy of putting rats and other animals ahead of humans, India could be a more prosperous country.

I'm not trying to belittle the social and material needs of the Asian people, but I feel that it is important to point out again that the basic problem in Asia is of a spiritual nature. The Western media focus almost completely on the hunger problem. When the media shows them images of starving children, it is difficult for Americans not to get the wrong idea that hunger is the worst problem.

What causes hunger? Asian Christians know that the awful situation is only a symptom of the actual problem – spiritual slavery in the yoke of Satanic philosophies. The key factor – and the most overlooked one – in understanding the hunger problem in India is the religious system of Hinduism and how it influences the production of food. Most people are familiar with the concept of the "holy cow"; cows roam free eating tonnes of grain while people nearby are starving. A less well known animal protected by the religion, and one that has caused more trouble, is the rat.

According to those who believe in reincarnation, rats must be protected because it is likely that a rat will receive a soul when it starts its spiritual journey towards Nirvana. Even though there are many people who do not share this belief and who try to poison rats, extensive attempts to eliminate the rat problem have been rejected by religious parties. One of the Indian heads of state has said, "The problems in India will never cease until the religion is changed..."

Rats eat or destroy 20% of the Indian grain meant for human consumption every year. A recent inspection in a grain cultivation area called Hapuri in northern India showed that there are in average ten rats in each building. (...)

One could assume that the destruction caused by the rat in India would cause contempt.  Instead, rats are protected and even worshipped in some places due to the people's spiritual blindness. One example of such a place is a temple a couple of dozen kilometres south of Bikaner in northern India.  (12)

Rabi Maharaj, a former Hindu guru, addresses the same problem. Maharaj believes that Hinduism with its fatalistic belief in karma, reincarnation and false gods is the root cause for the problems in India.

It is impossible to describe India to people who have not seen it for themselves. The misery, poverty, disease and superstition are shocking. The villages are awful too, but only when the visitor sees the millions and millions of people crowding the cities of India will they feel sheer terror. (...)

My heart hurt when I looked at the suffering multitudes of India. I wondered why the western people are searching for spiritual information from India. From experience I knew that Hinduism, its fatalistic belief in karma, reincarnation, and wrong gods was the basic reason for the problems in India. It was the blindness of the western people that made them turn to search for enlightenment from eastern mysticism! There was nothing else but darkness, and the anguish of India proved very clearly how deep this darkness was. Such an enormous deceit could only come from the same devilish, intelligent source that drives millions of people to destroy themselves because of the apparent paradise of drugs. (13)

Good and evil the same.

- (Mark 10:19) You know the Commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not Steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor your father and mother.

In modern times, it is a popular view in the West that everyone can choose their own morals and do what feels right and sensible to themselves. No one is bound by a binding and unchanging morality - e.g., the principles of the Ten Commandments - but that everyone can fulfill their desires as they see fit. However, it is not taken into account that this is exactly how Hitler and the Nazis acted and thought. They acted as they wished and as a result, huge numbers of people were murdered. In the light of the Bible, they broke e.g. the following commandments:

You shall not kill.

You shall not commit adultery. (Rape was common)

You shall not Steal. (Nazis plundered the property of Jews and other groups)

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. (Jews and other groups were slandered in the media for years)

What about the New Age thinking, of which pioneer Blavatsky was? This view, where everything is God, also has its own consequences for morality. For when god is everything — according to the New Age and Eastern thinking — he includes both good and evil. For this reason, Swami Vivekananda has stated, "Good and bad are one and the same" (14) and "also Murder is God" (15). Guru Bagwan Shree Rajneesh, too, in explaining the Hindu holy book Bhagavad Gita, has suggested that the actions we do have no meaning:

“Kill, murder, completely conscious of the fact that nobody has been murdered and nobody has been killed." (16)

However, the fact that no distinction is made between good and evil raises the question of where such a view, if implemented, will lead. Doesn't that just lead to an increase in suffering? It causes anarchy in society and an increase in human misery, because cruelty and non-cruelty or love and hate will no longer matter. So the doctrine of the unity of everything is not helpful, but causes harm. It is quite certain that such a teaching is from an evil source, the devil, or Satan, as Jesus taught. It is not about good power, because in practice the implementation of this teaching will lead to the same consequences as what the Nazis did, especially if it is implemented on a large scale.

- (John 8:44) You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

- (John 10:10) The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Where did Blavatsky get her teaching?

- (Acts 8:7,8) For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

8 And there was great joy in that city.

If you compare the teaching that came through Blavatsky with what Jesus taught, they differ in many respects. Jesus did not teach that there are many lives in a row, nor did he teach about the divinity of man and everything, or that there are many ways to connect with God. Instead, Jesus spoke of one life and the judgment after it, that there is a Creator who has done all things and that there is only one way to communion with God: He Himself: “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” (John 14: 6)

So why do Blavatsky's teachings differ from Jesus' teachings? Certainly the biggest reason is that Blavatsky received her teachings from a demonic spirit. After all, she was a practitioner of spiritualism and also served as a writing medium. She did not understand that she had been deceived by these spirits. She also disrespected the biblical commandment that we are forbidden to deal with the spirits of the deceased (Lev 19:31: 31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.)

What about the latter part of Blavatsky's life? It is noteworthy that towards the end of her life she suffered from similar mental problems as Nietzsche, Chamberlain, and many well-known occultists who have ended their lives in psychic ruins (Aleisteir Crowley, George Ivanovich Gurdjieff ...). This once again refers to the influence of Satan and evil spirits that Jesus mentioned. Satan has come to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10). These forces want to destroy every life and take him away from God. The following quote tells of Blavatsky's problems and how she recognized the existence and influence of spirits:

It was around this time that I began to feel a strange duality. Several times a day I feel that, apart from me, there is someone else, completely separate from me, present in my body. If I just remain silent, then someone else - the one who is in me - speaks through my tongue. I know I've never been to the places my other self describes. But the other me does not lie when she tells me about unknown places and things, because she has actually seen them and knows them well... At night, when I am in my bed, the whole life of my number two passes before my eyes, and I do not see myself at all, but almost a different person - a person with different race and feelings. But what is the use of talking about it? You can get crazy. I try to throw myself into this part and forget the strangeness of my situation. This is no mediality and in no way impure power; because there is too strong an influence over all of us guiding us in a better direction. No devil could act like this. Spirits perhaps? (17)

Alice Bailey. One of the most significant occultists of the last century was Alice Bailey (1880-1949). She was the third president of the Theosophical Society after Blavatsky and Annie Besant and, along with Blavatsky, has perhaps been most influential in building the current New Age movement. Bailey also apparently was the first to use the term New Age and spoke of the time of Aquarius. These terms have since become established for general use.

However, the most significant was Bailey’s literary production. Through her, 24 books were completed, of which 19 she said were born in a telepathic connection with the Tibetan Djwhal Khul, a member of the Great Brotherhood. Among these 19 books was also one of Bailey’s best-known works, Education in the New Age. We are going to look at this work and some of its basic teachings here.

Teaching reincarnation. The options for what is after this life are quite few. There is an atheistic view where everything ends after this life. Then there is the New Testament teaching about heaven and hell, meaning that everyone can be saved from hell and get to heaven through Jesus ’atoning work and turning to him (also in Buddhism and Islam, heaven and hell are believed, but salvation is based on man’s own merits. Therefore, no one can be sure of his salvation) Then there is the Hindu view that man is born onto earth over and over again.

What is then the teaching that came through Djwhal Khul; it is the third of these options, i.e. the basic doctrine of Hinduism: reincarnation. That will be clear from the following quote. However, as stated above, the doctrine of reincarnation and the Hindu religion, has been an obstacle to India’s own development. It has kept people in passivity and poverty.

One main task of an instructor of the future will be teaching the law of reincarnation (reincarnation and karma) and achieving (…) a thorough change in racial attitude to life and sex, to birth and parenthood. The doctrine of reincarnation (…) will be one of the key factors in the new world religion. (18)

Breaking up the family community. One of the teachings in Bailey’s book is to break up the family community. The following is a quote from his book, which he believed he had received from a member of the White Brotherhood, Djwhal Khul:

The first community (…) of which every child becomes aware is the family community. (…)The family community has separated itself to a prevailing isolation, selfishness, and individual isolation.

Family pride is overemphasized, which leads to various obstacles separating people from each other, families from the community. (…) However, in the coming world order, the instructors will prepare young people (…) for taking part in (…) the harmonious world. (19)

However, the attempt to break up the family community proves even more clearly that behind these thoughts is an evil spirit world whose purpose is only to steal, and to kill, and to Destroy (John 10:10).

For the break-up of the family community is one of the biggest causes of problems in society. Things like drug use, teenage pregnancies, mental health problems among young people, and especially crime are much more common for children who have spent their childhoods in institutions and single-parent families, but very rare for children from ordinary and intact homes.

It has long been known that the main cause of criminal problems is the lack of an intact home. Criminals come mostly from foster homes and orphanages, not intact families. Especially the absence of a father from homes is one of the greatest scourges and causes many problems for society. According to one program, children without a father are 8 times more likely to go to jail. They are 20 times more likely to have behavioral disorders, 10 times more likely to use drugs, 20 times more likely rapes, and in addition, they are 9 times more likely to drop out of school than others.

The question of family integrity is therefore essential. If women alone are raising children or caring for them in orphanages, or if children become street children, to which the teaching of the Bayley's book practically takes, it would only lead to major social problems that are also financially costly. It can be said directly that such a teaching cannot be constructive.

In this context, a small reference to the media. Paul wrote in his day about people who the devil has captived to do his will (2 Tim 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.). This is often true of media  which have an obsession to drive false lifestyles and make heroes of  people who represent them. In the 1960s, those who were in sexual intercourse without a marriage were considered heroes. Today’s heroes are homosexuals and trans people. However, favoring false lifestyles is increasingly leading to sexual experimentation and the breakdown of ordinary marriages. This increases the cost to society.

The following quotations make clear what it means when there is no father at home and how important is the support and presence of both parents for the children. Most criminals and problem children come from broken families or have spent some time in institutional care. This is an unfortunate fact and shows the importance of the family for the development of the child. Bailey’s teaching, which she received from a “member of the White Brotherhood,” shows that it comes from a bad source.

When I was speaking at a certain men's camp in Hume Lake in California, I mentioned that the average father spends only three minutes of quality time with his child a day. After the meeting, one man questioned my information.

He scolded, "You preachers only say things. According to the latest research, the average father doesn't spend even three minutes daily with his children, but 35 seconds."

I believe him because he worked as a school inspector in central California. Actually, he gave me another startling statistic.

In a certain school district in California there were 483 students in special education. None of those students had a father at home.

In a certain area on the outskirts of Seattle, 61% of children live without a father.

The absence of a father is a curse nowadays. (20)

Jesus does not talk about “mother” but “father” in His parable about the prodigal son. A son needs a father! A daughter needs a father! In my opinion, fatherlessness is the reason why so many young Finns have fallen to a life of crime. They don’t have a father at all or only a mockery of a father. They don’t have a genuine, warm father figure. They have a strange man who sometimes comes to their home, whom they do not know and who does not know them. (...)

It is sad that placing insecure children in institutions where it is difficult for them to make contact with other people is more and more common, and placing children in private homes is less common nowadays. The cooling of love towards children can also be seen in this tendency. When people do not have their own children, they do not want to take in somebody else’s. People want more and more comfort. (...)

All of the killers mentioned in this book have spent some time in institutional care. This is already some sort of evidence about institutionalised children. They are common customers in courts of justice. The most major reason behind the crimes seems to be the lack of a father and mother, the lack of love. (21)

David Poponoe, sociologist, the University of Rutgers: Social sciences research probably never achieves certain results. However, during my three-decade-lasting work as a social sciences researcher I have become familiar with only a few sets of facts, where the weight of the evidence is really crucially on the one side: all in all for a child it is best that he or she grows up in a family with two (biological) parents than with a single parent or with a blended family.  (22)

If we were asked to design a system to ensure all children’s basic needs are being taken care of, we would probably end up somewhere, what is similar to the ideal of having two parents. In theory, this kind of plan does not only ensure that the children get two adult’s time and resources, it also provides a controlling and balancing system, which promotes high-class parenthood. Both parent’s biological relationship with the child increases the probability that the parents are able to identify themselves with the child and are ready to make sacrifices for the child. It also decreases the probability of the parents exploiting the child. (23)

It has been cogently showcased that children do not flourish, despite good physical care if they are being held in impersonal institutions, and that separation from the mother – especially during certain periods – is very damaging to the child. Typical implications of institution care are mental retardation, indifference, regressing and even death, when a sufficient surrogate mother is not available. (24)

World government and concentration of power. If we read the New Age literature, we can find an idea of one global government, one global economic system, world citizenship, and one world ruler. Some occult organizations have long had the goal of a single world government and concentrating power on a small group. For example, the Illuminati organization, which has been operating secretly since the 18th century, has pursued the following goals since its founder, Adam Weishaupt. Point 4 is related to the family and is the same as the lesson that came through Alice Bailey.

1. Abolition of monarchies and all governments

2. Abolition of private ownership and inheritance

3. The abolition of patriotism and nationalism

4. Elimination of family life and the concept of marriage and organization of group education for children

5. The abolition of all religion and especially Christianity

6. One world ruler

The Dutchman Corrie ten Boom, known for her book the Hiding Place who was in a concentration camp for some time during World War II, has referred to the same in one of her books. She met a man converted from witchcraft and who had been in contact with the Illuminati, a political party running a world government. This group includes influential capital circles and is able to implement its plans.

I overheard a testimony of a man who had turned away from sorcery, who was in a high position among witches. He was one of the thirteen rulers of the United States. Activity in an underground political party was directly connected with his religious beliefs. This has spread everywhere in the world and has the goal of creating one united world government. (…)

I checked his background and activity and so far, everything has proven that he has been in contact with witchcraft and illuminates (a political party working on behalf of the world government). He is in continuous mortal peril for the sake of revenge of his former cult companions, but in spite of that he wants to awaken the sleeping congregations to keep watch.

He has revealed certain plans that might seem exaggerated if there were not information concerning the activity and influence of illuminates. That particular group contains influential capital circles, and it is capable of putting its plans into effect. (25)

What about the spirit world’s messages about world integration? What comes to Alice Bailey's book "Education in the new age", which Bailey received as early as 1945 from the spirit creature Djwhal Khul, in this book there is also a reference to world government and world citizenship. The teachings of this spirit are consistent with the goals of the Illuminati organization.

We need (…) political synthesis between the world federation and (…) the brains of the world. (…) We also need a planetary life form, planetary ethics, and a planetary attitude to bring forth the powerful trend that is required for the great upcoming mission.

When the young are civilized, cultivated, and receptive to cosmopolitanism, we will have a world where people will be awakened to awareness, creative, and have a real understanding of values.  (26)

Having stated above that the goal of the spirit world is world integration, it is interesting to note that the so-called humanoids that many New Age people believe they are connected to, convey the same message about world integration, world government, and one leader. (These beings have also taught the basic doctrine of Hinduism, or reincarnation, so they seem to be well versed in the belief systems of the earth.)

One example is Rauni-Leena Luukanen-Kilde's book Universumin lapsi (p. 206). It has been received by automatic writing and tells about one system, the world government, and how the UN works as a good model for it. In another quote, she himself explains in an interview with Apu magazine (36/1991, p. 64) how humanoids want to unite the world.

"Some day we will all be in one system, under the government of the world. The UN shows the way. It is getting stronger but it is still too weak to accept responsibility for the development of the entire planet. In the future, things will be different. When contact with other nations in the universe becomes a daily issue, the forming of a common global government will become a necessity. The UN is a good base model."

"The new world will be filled with a universal religion by the name of love. The other religions will fall as will political systems because the humanoids wish to unite the world."

Rauni-Leena Luukanen's third comment is in an interview of Ultra magazine 7-8 / 1991. When asked "what do space beings think of European integration," she replied, e.g. that, the goal of the humanoids is to remove the boundaries and that there should be only one leader on this planet:

An interesting question because the Commander-in-Chief of the Belgian Air Force presented a question as to why have there been over 10,000 UFO observations in Belgium over the last 18 months. He did not have any answer to this but I immediately knew: because Brussels will become the capital of the European Union. In other words, a part of the globe is going to unite now. They are expressly trying to achieve this goal that all nations of our planet would be integrated, borders are removed, and that there is only one leader on this planet. Everything will eventually lead to this. (The Bible calls "the one leader" whom the UFO fans want by the name Antichrist. – Comment by S.T. ) (27)

A few quotes were brought up above in connection with the idea of world citizenship, world government, and a single leader. These ideas emerge in the goals of the Illuminati organization, in Alice Bailey’s book, and in the context of UFO experiences. They all present a similar type of plan to rule the world.

Bringing up the idea of one world citizenship and one world government associated with it may seem good at first. There will be similarities in the future kingdom of God in the same matter, because God rules there and there are no differences between nationalities, or other disagrees. Chapters 21 and 22 of Revelation refer to the wonderfulness of this kingdom.

However, the same thing can become a tragedy if power is concentrated too much on one group or one leader and their intentions are evil. The more power a group or individual gains, the more damage they can do if their intentions are not good. That is, if personal evil exists and it tries to carry out its plan in the world, it will be easier to carry it out if the smaller group controls others. The ideal would be one person through whom it works best. Nothing else is needed to carry out a personal evil plan.

There are similar dangers to the development of the current European Union. Developments have been such that more and more power is flowing from the nation states to the EU and it is dangerous. It is likely that developments will increasingly lead to an alliance of independent nations towards a federation where power is even more concentrated in Brussels. There is a lot of support for this among politicians in Brussels and it is possible to make it happen. This is precisely what can be considered dangerous, because the concentration of power opens up opportunities for major abuses. This possibility should not be overlooked lightly.

History also shows the dangers of concentrating power. Developments that looked good at first may have gone badly wrong. Hitler, Stalin and Mao are examples from the last century. During and through them, tens of millions of their own citizens died. The consequences were negative, even though they were citizens of the same country. In these societies, opposition, freedom of religion, opposing opinions were suppressed and a model was implemented in which the right of parents to raise their own children was restricted. (Among other things, Soviet communist ZI Lilina uttered famous words in which children belonged to the state and had to be raised to be communists: "We have to save these children from the disgusting influence that the family provides. In other words, we have to nationalize them. They must be taught the ABCs of Communism so that they may later become real communists. Our task now is to oblige the mother to give her children to us - the state. ")

Baldur von Shirach, who served as leader of the Hitler-jugend in the 1930s, has taken a stand on the same subject. He was interviewed during the Nuremberg trials by Leon Goldensohn. He saw that the state system should prevent a small group from gaining power. Concentrating power on a small group or a single person opens the door to similar abuses as happened during Hitler's time:

With hindsight, and realizing what we went through, I'm absolutely sure that the real state system must prevent one, twenty or thirty men from getting their hands on all state power. It is power that corrupts people. That’s right, it seems to me that the lust for power is the worst danger and the greatest depravity of humanity.

Some defendants say a dictatorship can be good if the dictator is good. However, I say that a man cannot remain good if he becomes a dictator. Authoritarianism is a system that destroys human morality. If you give power to a saint, he will become Hitler or the devil. (29)

And what is the teaching of the Bible on this subject? On the Old Testament side, there is some mention of this subject. According to when the people asked the king (Give us a king ... 1 Sam 8: 4-6), it was not God's will and not for the benefit of the nation. It is also a lesson for modern times. Power easily corrupts man and perfect power can corrupt completely. Ecclesiastical power can do the same. For example, the power of the pope, who ruled especially in the Middle Ages, is a deviation from the will of God. Decentralized power is a safer option for the development of society. It is also useful if the administrators have expertise in financial and other matters and they pursuit of good. Such a society is best for people.

- (1 Sam 12:13,16-19) Now therefore behold the king whom you have chosen, and whom you have desired! and, behold, the LORD has set a king over you.

16 Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.

17 Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call to the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that you may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.

18 So Samuel called to the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

19 And all the people said to Samuel, Pray for your servants to the LORD your God, that we die not: for we have added to all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.

When searching for the safest model for the development of society, decentralized power is the best option because it takes into account human sinfulness. It is useful if the legislature, the judiciary system and the executive power are separate entities. Then there is less room for corruption and abuse. In dictatorial states, this usually does not happen.

Switzerland once went even further. Power was not only divided into three branches, but in addition, each institution was placed in a different city. In addition, power was divided at the national level, i.e. the cantonal level (corresponding to the states and provinces) and the city level. Models like this protect against excessive concentration of power and large-scale abuses. The following comment continues on this subject, showing how important it is that the state does not control all aspects of life. This prevents totalitarianism. A decentralized model is more secure than concentrating of power:

Althius stood up for the societal sector autonomy, which prevents the power from fixating on the government. Real pluralism comes, when different societal relationships become organized as self-legislated. The tension between them secures an indivisual’s freedom. One of the best ways of protecting a person’s rights, is to protect the rights of families, churches, schools, businesses and oragnisations that are based on voluntary membership – isolated individuals are very vulnerable to totalitarian control, as Hannah Arendt shows in her book The Origin of Totalitarianism. Strong independent groups restrict the power of the government: each societal institution takes responsibility of their own operating sector – the government does not govern all aspects of life. (30)

It was noted above how the teachings of world integration and one leader have often come through the humanoids. When humans have been in contact with UFOs and these space creatures, they have passed these messages on to others.

But is the underlying force behind the previous thoughts evil? So are creatures that appear as humanoids evil? It is not a question of UFO contact-persons deliberately deceiving others, but of the evil spirit world trying to carry out their own intentions through them. This possibility is good to consider because the consequences in the lives of UFO contact-persons are invariably negative. While humanoids may initially look loving, talk about love, and some may even experience physical healing, the consequences over time are detrimental to the person themselves. Such a finding has been made by many UFO researchers who have observed the consequences in the lives of UFO contact persons.

Common consequences in both UFO experiences and occultism can include delusions, nightmares, physical injuries, insanity, falling into the power of a spirit being, and some other consequences. They have been highlighted by John Keel, one of the most well-known UFO experts, in his book. He explains the consequences in the lives of UFO contact-persons:

Working with UFOs can be just as dangerous as black magic (…) the consequences range from paranoid schizophrenia and demonic mania to suicide. (38)

I have helplessly watched these people fall into a hopeless decay of personality and become insane or even commit suicide.

Bob Larson continues along the same lines in his book UFO. He describes problems of people who have been in contact with UFOs and says that he has not yet met anyone who has considered their UFO experiences positive in the long run. The humanoids did not offer them any peace of mind. These experiences are quite similar to what Blavatsky, Chamberlain, and several occultists have experienced over the years in dealing with spirits:

In hundreds of accounts and personal interviews that I have examined, not a single victim has expressed his encounter with the humanoids being comforting. Humanoids do not offer peace of mind. Instead, those psychiatrists who have examined kidnapped people say that most of these encounters lead to serious traumas followed by distressing nightmares and fearsome memories. This initial fearful reaction generally gives way to resignation when you submit to the idea that you are a mediator through whom supernatural information is transferred. These people feel like manipulated robots, who do not have any other possibility than to obey these more developed beings.

Because these people are completely under the influence of these beings, they feel that they are controlled by them so much that they no longer have any life of their own. Every decision in their life is controlled by these higher beings. If these bearers of messages really mean well and are mentally more developed, as they generally claim, why do their appearances not offer any comfort?

It is also worth noting that the idea of a world federation set out in Alice Bailey’s book is not new. That, too, had already materialized in some form in the former Soviet Union, which consisted of several states - it was thus almost a "world federation" at that time. Its consequences and history are well known, as is how it disintegrated about thirty years ao. So Bailey's book is just a new version of the same matter.

Where, then, did the Soviet Communist regime get its idea from? One important source has certainly been the Communist Manifesto (1848), in which the same ideas were put forward decades earlier. It mentioned the Communists ’negative attitude towards home, religion, and the homeland (the same ideas appeared in the Illuminati program). Thoughts similar to those put forward by Marx a hundred years ago can also be heard in today's debate. Many “sages” are arrogant about the importance of the home, the Christian faith, and the homeland, thus bringing up ideas similar to those represented by Marx and his communist friends over hundred years ago. These people are certainly right to warn, for example, of the dangers of excessive nationalism and the xenophobia that everyone should avoid. However, globalization, where power is concentrated on a small group, is much more dangerous. The following quote explains more about this topic:

If, for example, the word trio “God, family and country” makes you laugh contemptuously, you have learned your reaction from the continuity of Marxism. Those values – private ownership, family, patriotism and ideologies working for these – are already the enemies given in the Communist Manifesto (1848). I too, let myself understand from an early age that these things are to be despised, because they are for the stupid ones… When growing up and becoming more wise, people understand that this is merely learning from an example, copying the older boys. But political Marxism made possible all this rationalization. It gave the rationale of real and intelligent adult people for all this.

What did Marx and the others want? This is how communard Gaveau encapsulated it in 1871:

“To do clean work and rebuilt everything, that is the job of the supporters of national blue-collar union. To establish society that doesn’t recognize the government nor the army and also not religion; who fulfils the law of the nation by the nation, changing ownership of the terrain to joint ownership, abolishing private inheritance rights to capital goods and means of production and discontinuing marriage as a political, religious and juridical institution. In the end, society, which removes all war parties forever and demolishing all borders  and abolishes all partiarcal thoughts, unites all the workers of the world into a real solidarity.” (32)

Charles Darwin. When listing social influencers, politicians and leaders of peoples are usually brought up first. That makes sense, of course, but just as important are the people who have influenced people’s worldview. For no politician or other person lives in a vacuum, but is constantly influenced by those around him. Some views he embraces and rejects others, and they form his worldview.

One of the most important people in shaping people’s worldview has certainly been Darwin. His theory of evolution caused a revolution in philosophy, psychology, biology, and politics. It greatly affected many famous people:

• Nietzsche was a student of theology, but when he read Darwin's book The Origin of Species, he interrupted his studies.

• Chamberlain, whom is considered a spiritual father by the National Socialists, based his racial theory on the teachings of Darwin.

• Soviet leader Josef Stalin was one of those influenced by Darwin’s work The Origin of Species. Stalin’s biography, written by E. Yaroslavsky, a good friend of Stalin, tells how Stalin, who was religiously educated and studied theology, becomes an atheist after reading Darwin’s work. It happened at the age of 13. After that, he also began to convert his friends to a “new faith” by lending them Darwin’s books.

• Marx and Engels both believed in God and Christ at a young age, but renounced their faith and later believed in Darwin's teachings. After reading The Origin of Species, Marx wrote to Friedrich Engels: "This is the book that provides the scientific basis for our views." To his revolutionary friend Lassalle, he wrote in joy that God had now finally been given a “death blow” through the natural sciences and continued, “Darwin’s book is very important and provides me with a basis for class struggle.” (33)

Darwin's influence cannot therefore be underestimated. His book influenced the thinking of many well-known leaders and ordinary people from the 19th century to the present day. He is one of the people who has most influenced people’s worldview.

So what force was behind Darwin's thoughts? This matter, of course, is not considered in secularist circles that do not acknowledge the existence of supernatural forces or God. Instead, here we take into account the possibility that Darwin was in fact betrayed by evil forces. This can be proved by two things, which we will examine below:

The social impact of Darwin's theory. It was described above how the Christian faith was abandoned before World War II. In Germany, for example, there were a number of liberal theologians and Bible critics who contributed to the diminishing importance of the Christian faith. These intellectuals taught their doctrines in universities and wrote books that destroyed the faith of many. Such a development had prevailed in Germany for more than a century.

What about Darwin's theory? It also contributed to the diminishing importance of Christianity. This theory caused a revolution in people’s thinking. It provided a scientifically seeming basis for atheism and rejection of God, but also for rejection of morality. There was no longer any permanent basis for morality because it had no connection with God. It was also thought that if there is no Creator, or God, he cannot be a judge to whom every man is accountable for his actions. These things are interconnected.

With regard to the human rights violations and injustices in societies addressed in this paper, the theory of evolution itself did not lead to these acts. Instead, this theory influenced people’s worldview so that they began to question the sanctity and value of human life. Human life was no longer considered qualitatively different from the rest of creation. There was seen only a small degree difference between humans and animals, as humans were thought to have evolved from simple forms of organisms through gradual changes. As a result, it was difficult to draw the line between humans and other nature. Man himself was seen as a subject to constant change like all other nature. In the last hundred years, when inhumanities have taken place, on their backround there is a distorted image of man, in which he was no longer regarded as a valuable image of God but as an heir to animals. In this sense, it is easy to consider the option that Darwin’s theory is from a bad source.

Secondly, when Darwin's theory became accepted and man was assumed to be inherited from lower animals, it led to the notion of the inherent superiority of certain races. It was thought that some races are innately more capable, intelligent, and better adapted. People were classified as valuable and less valuable based on race, ability to function, or other trait. This view, called social Darwinism, was common in the early 20th century. It was adopted in many countries. The theory of evolution thus provided a pseudo-scientific justification for racism and human inequality. It was no longer believed in the biblical teaching that the entire human race is from a single couple and that all human races have the same short life cycle. This notion was rejected because of Darwin's theory.

A good picture of how the view called social Darwinism, scientific racism, was common in Europe but especially in Germany, gives Richard Weikart. He wrote in his book From Darwin to Hitler that by 1890 “almost all influential Darwinist anthropologists and ethnologists - as well as most Darwinist biologists and popularizers - embraced scientific racism”. (34) This shows how Darwin's theory had a negative effect on societies.

Historian H. G. Wells continues on the same subject. He wrote in 1924 how social Darwinist thinking, the rejection of morality and rejection of faith in God came to power in 1859 after Darwin had published his book The Birth of Species. The quote shows what impact Darwin had on people’s worldview and behavior. It doesn't matter what we believe about our origins:

Darwinism was a sudden surprise to official Christianity… The immediate impact of this great controversy… was quite damaging. The new biological science had not yet produced anything constructive that could have replaced the old laws of chastity. The result was a real loss of morality… Since 1859, there has been a real decline in faith. In many cases, the real gold of religion was thrown away with the worn purse where it had been stored for so long and could not be recovered. At the end of the nineteenth century, influential and mighty individuals believed their power was based on the ‘struggle for existence’, in which the strong and cunning overcome the weak and the confident. (35)

A couple of comments still show how Darwin’s theory led to social Darwinism in the society of its time. It led to a view where the sanctity of human life was questioned. That should not have happened, but since the theory of evolution offers no moral basis, it was one possible direction of development.

It is clear that the path from Darwinism, Wagnerism, nihilism and even racism and anti-Semitistic Nazism was never simple and straightforward. Different pathways of course lead to different directions. However, despite the complexity, indeed one path led to Auschwitz. No matter how big the risks of ambitious ideology are, these risks should not weaken our determination to understand the processes and influences that, at least in one case, led to that end result. I believe that the fear of complexity is a poor reason to stop studying cultural history. (36)

Although we should be careful about depicting Darwin, who is responsible for the beginning of a secular period, as a human, we should be just as mindful of underestimating the importance of evolutionary thinking on doubting the holiness of human life. (37)

So one reason to believe that Darwin's theory came from a bad source was that the theory had negative social consequences. It led to the questioning of the sanctity of human life. Likewise, it led to “scientific” racism, in which people were classified as valuable and less valuable on the basis of race, ability to function, or other trait. Hitler's Aryan ideas would hardly have received so much support if Darwin's theory had not provided a scientifically seemed basis for the varying degrees of development of the races.

Another reason, why Darwin’s theory is from a bad source, is that it takes away faith in God. If God has not created anything, as Darwin's theory requires, then the whole existence of God can be questioned. How can God exist if He has not even created anything? For this reason, many well-known atheists such as Richard Dawkins have said that Darwin’s theory offers them a scientific reason to be an atheist. They do not seek God and do not take eternity seriously because they are sure of the non-existence of God.

Although Darwin's theory is considered scientific, such as atheists consider their own worldview to be scientific, it is possible to prove this theory false (precisely the form that all species originate from the same stem cell) through a few simple facts. It is due to the following reasons:

1. First, the beginning of life. The truth is that only life brings life. No exceptions to this rule have been found. In other words, if there is no Creator who has been above all, there can be no life. It has already been stated that a dead substance can only experience changes in its state by changes in temperature - solid, liquid, gas - but nothing else happens. Through this any new life doesn't born.

Thus, Darwin's theory collapses on this first hurdle. If there is no life, there can be no evolution of lifeforms that Darwin's theory requires. (Admittedly, some have suggested that God created the first cell from which everything began to evolve, but why would he be content with it? He certainly created all life forms and not just one cell.)

2. Species are finished. Another reason to be critical of Darwin’s theory and its gradual evolution is the observation that existing species and discovered fossils are finished and fully developed. In nature and fossils, semi-developed wings, arms, legs, or senses are not observed, but are in a finished form. After all, the theory of evolution requires that all animals are constantly evolving, and therefore semi-finished organs should be seen everywhere, but it is not observed.

Richard Dawkins, a well-known atheist, confirms the same point in his book The God Delusion (p. 153). He notes that every species and every organ in a species that has been studied so far is good at what it does. This clearly refers to creation, where all species were immediately created. The gradual evolution required by Darwin's theory is not true, but is a lie of Satan.

The reality based on observations is that every species and every organ inside a species that so far has been examined is good at what it does. The wings on birds, bees and bats are good for flying. Eyes are good at seeing. Leaves are good at photosynthesis. We live on a planet, where we are surrounded by perhaps ten million species, which all independently indicate a strong illusion of apparent design. Every species fits well into its special lifestyle. (38)

To make it clear, we take a few related comments, the last of which is by Richard Dawkins. If the evidence of fossils is used as an aid, there has never been a gradual evolution as required by Darwin's theory. The findings are consistent with the fact that the species were created from scratch. They can vary in the context of their heredity (there are examples of this in the Book of Darwin and other evolutionary literature), but it is false to consider gradual evolution to be true when it is not.

Stephen Jay Gould: The extreme rareness of intermediate forms in fossil material continues to be the trade secret of palaeontologists. The evolution trees appearing in our textbooks include facts only at the heads and folding points of the branches. The rest is reasoning, no matter how reasonable it is, not evidence of fossils –- I do not want in any way to belittle the potential competence of the gradual evolution view. I want only to remark that it has never 'been observed' in rocks. (...) (39)

Niles Eldredge:  We palaeontologists have said that the history of life supports [a story about changes that promote gradual adapting], even though we know all the while that it does not. (40)

Richard Dawkins: Since the times of Darwin, scientists researching evolution have known that fossils arranged in the order of time do not form a sequence of small and barely noticeable change. - - For example, strata from the Cambrian period from 600 million years ago are the oldest strata that contain fossils from most of the vertebrate phyla. On top of that, many of them are already quite far developed. Because there are no earlier fossils, they seem to have appeared on these strata from thin air… Regardless of their school of thought, all the evolutionists agree that in this area there is a huge gap in the fossil discoveries. (41)

Breakthrough of the theory of evolution in society and the lies.

As stated, the lie of Satan is that man comes from the lower life forms, i.e. first from the stem cell, then e.g. from fish and lastly from monkey-like creatures. This is a lie from the spirit world, because the evidence points to the opposite direction, that is, creation.

The action of Ernst Haeckel (1834-1919) is also an indication of how lie played a major role in the breakthrough of the theory of evolution. He was the most famous popularist in the theory of evolution — in a much larger role than Thomas H. Huxley, known as Darwin’s bulldog, for example — but he used conscious lies in spreading the theory of evolution. These were e.g. the following things:

• The best known of Haeckel's fakes was the comparison of fetal images, which, for example, Darwin considered "by far the strongest evidence of evolution theory" (as he wrote in his letter to Asa Gray in 1860). These images, drawn by Haeckel, have adorned the pages of biology books from decade to decade, but today they are known as fakes. Thus, researcher Richardson stated in the journal Science (1997, 277, 1435) about Haeckel's fraud: "It seems that this may be the most significant forgery in biology." Likewise, Stephen Jay Gould has drawn attention to Haeckel's deception: "We have, I think, the right to be amazed and ashamed of the century-long insane recycling that has led to the permanence of these images in many, if not most, modern textbooks!" (Natural History, 3/2000, pp. 42-49)

• Haeckel was the first to draw an evolutionary tree. However, the tree he drew was as imaginative as any tree that was drawn later. The reason for this is simple: Haeckel did not have knowledge of the pedigree relationships of the species, such as it is still missing today. Gradual evolution and intermediate forms are not observed in fossils.

• Haeckel drew pictures of the first ancestors, even though he had no fossil material to support him. The images were based on his imagination of what kind he imagined the primitive man to be.

• An indication of Haeckel's mistake or fraud is also the monera organisms or the initial mucus from which life was to begin. These organisms appear at the root of the Haeckel evolutionary tree, but they had nothing to do with life. The birth of life was unresolved in the 19th century, as it still is.

What about finds related to supposed human development? One of the biggest reasons for accepting the theory of evolution is certainly these finds, which are usually presented in the media under major headlines. It is therefore worth looking back a little, that is, to study the five most important discoveries in less than a hundred years after Darwin's theory was published. These five major discoveries were the Man of Neanderthal, the Man of Java, the Man of Pildtown, the Man of Nebraska, and the Taung Child found by Raymond A. Dart:

• The Neanderthal man was discovered as early as the 1860s. The cultural discoveries associated with it show that it is a real human. Its brain size is equal to or even larger than the brain size of the average modern person. Likewise, the shape of the skull corresponds exactly to modern humans and fits the variations that occur in modern humans. Darwin’s “bulldog” Thomas Huxley also did not consider the Neanderthal man to be our evolutionary ancestor but an ordinary man. Donald Johanson and James Shreeve have written in their book Lucy's Child (New York: William Morrow & Company, 1989, p. 49) about Huxley's reasoning: "Huxley was able to choose from the collection of human skulls a series in which traits gradually changed from the average human to a Neanderthal skull. It was therefore not qualitatively different from today's Homo sapiens."

• The Java man - discovered in the 1890s by Eugene Dubois - was considered for decades the most important find related to human evolution. However, this discovery could not have been the ancestor of man. In 1907, a research group (at least 17 experts) was sent to the Java area, from which Dubois had excavated his Java people. The purpose of the expedition was to confirm the findings of Dubois and to search for more remnants of the Java man, but it failed. Instead, the researchers concluded that the sediments in which the Java man was found were only 500-600 years old. This shows that the Java man actually lived at the same time as modern humans. There is more information about the topic, e.g. in Marvin L. Lubenow’s book Bones of Contention.

• The man in Pildtown is a well-known fake. This was detected in 1953, about 40 years after its finding.

• The man of Nebraska is important because it was used as evidence in a great “monkey trial” in 1925. In fact, the evidence for this man was only one tooth, which was later found to belong to an extinct pig! This happened when the skeleton of the animal from which the original tooth came was found. The "experts" thus created an entire human race from a pig's tooth!

• The Taung child found by Raymond A. Dart was very famous in the 1920s and represents the Australopithecus class. However, many fossil experts do not consider this class to be representative of the human species because it is clearly similar to the current apes, not humans. The following comments tell more about this:

The Australopithecus was only an upright walking, intelligent anthropoid, not a human. The small cranium with intense bone crests above the eyes and on top of the head is similar to that of an anthropoid ape. (42)

When comparing the skulls of a man and an anthropoid, the skull of an Australopithecus clearly more resembles the skull of an anthropoid. Claiming otherwise would be the same as asserting that black is white. (43)

Our discoveries leave hardly any doubt that (…) the Australopithecus does not resemble the Homo sapiens; instead, it resembles the modern guenons and anthropoids. (44)

The fakes of Ernst Haeckel were discussed above and how the first important human ancestors were either counterfeits (Pildtown man, Nebraska man) or could not be important for human evolution (Taung child, Java man, and Neanderthal man). It is important to pay attention to these matters as they greatly influenced the acceptance of the theory of evolution. They appeared in the media and influenced people’s thinking. However, from the beginning, it was a matter of either the lies of the people or the lies of Satan that these people and others believed. The facts point to the opposite direction than gradual evolution.

Closing remarks

- (John 1:14,17) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ

- (Rom 1:25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

- (2 Cor 4:2) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

- (Gal 5:7) You did run well; who did hinder you that you should not obey the truth?

- (Eph 4:15) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

- (2 Thess 2:10-12) And with all delusion of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

- (1 Tim 2:3,4) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

- (2 Tim 4:3,4) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to fables.

This writing has dealt with lies, specifically lies from the spirit world. Satan and the evil spirit world seek to lead every man away from God and to hell, and lies play an important part in it. Surely no one is so stupid as to intentionally lose himself forever, but it happens because of lies. They mislead him.

However, everyone can get to know the truth and experience salvation. It happens through Jesus Christ, who has spoken the truth and is the way, the truth, and the life itself. Only through him can we approach God and be forgiven of our sins. Jesus said of himself e.g. the following words:

- (John 8:31,32) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed;

32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

- (John 8:44-46) You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, you believe me not.

46 Which of you convinces me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do you not believe me?

- (John 14:6) Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.

- (John 10:9) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Therefore, turn to Jesus Christ and welcome Him into your own life so that you may have eternal life and forgiveness of your sins. He has eternal life, and by coming, that is, turning to him, you will receive eternal life as a gift. Only your own reluctance can stop you from being saved.

- (John 6:67-69) Then said Jesus to the twelve, Will you also go away?

68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? you have the words of eternal life.

69 And we believe and are sure that you are that Christ, the Son of the living God.

- (Joh 5:39,40) Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

40 And you will not come to me, that you might have life.

So if you have received Jesus into your life, then you are the child of God, you have eternal life, and you have been born again as the following verses show. You have this eternal life no matter how you feel at the moment. Don’t base your assurance of salvation on your own varying feelings, but on the word of the Bible and Jesus Christ, such as the anchor of a ship is never thrown inside the ship but always outside it.

- (John 1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name

 - (1 John 5:11-13) And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

12 He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.

13 These things have I written to you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.

The prayer of salvation: Lord, Jesus, I turn to You. I confess that I have sinned against You and have not lived according to Your will. However, I want to turn away from my sins and follow You with all my heart. I also believe that my sins have been forgiven through Your atonement and I have received eternal life through You. I thank You for the salvation that You have given me. Amen.
